We are watching souls depart as rapidly as this virus spreads. Death is here. People are dying. More people will die. It is a part of life that we will all face one day, yet it is alarming to watch so many souls leaving the planet at one time. Because of this I think it is important to remember that we do not die. Death is a passageway from Physical to Non-Physical and I wanted to share an update of one story of a soul who has already departed and how he is still showing up for his loved one here on earth.
A Love Letter From Beyond~ if you remember my previous blog/newsletter, you'll remember how this woman lost the love of her life and how he was showing up for her in the wind and poems of Mary Oliver. Please read the blog post of you haven't yet- it is truly remarkable. If you have already read it, read it again, just to feel better about what is going on today. (click here to Read A Love Letter From Beyond) Fast forward a year and a half later. I received a sweet email from her at the end of December. She writes: Hi Betsey, I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I did! I was out walking again in the beautiful Arizona desert where I live (see photo below) and where I frequently talk to my friend XXX who crossed over a year ago. Invariably the vanes of the windmill always start to turn when I walk by. But two days ago, something very different happened. It was a very windy day, so the windmill was turning very fast the entire day But....when I walked by and stood directly under it, it suddenly came to an abrupt halt, even in the strong wind. Of course I knew that was XXX showing me he is still with me. When I continued my walk, it started to turn again. I was overcome with tears of joy. Life continues to amaze. Just sharing another great spirit story! Hope all is well in Fairhope. Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon? Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? Let this be a reminder to each and every one of us that we can all have these stories. We have to believe, be open, be curious and trust. Her photo is included below.
