Many of you have been reading my newsletters and blog posts for a while now. You have surely read the stories of my Dad and how he continues to show up and surprise me in such clever and playful ways. A little back story- he made his transition at 2:22 pm in March of 2018, and shortly after that, in April, I went on vacation with my girlfriend Debe. She lives in California and at the time I was in Alabama and we decided to meet in Arizona. Now 222 has been important to me for many years so my family was ecstatic when he chose THAT time as his departure. It was a real punctuation mark for us that he knew exactly what he was doing and wanted to wave at us on his way out. Needless to say 222 has become significant for all of us.
In 2018, Debe picked me up from the airport in Scottsdale. She arrived earlier than me so had time to check into the hotel prior. When we arrived and I was getting my luggage out of the car, being a numbers-are-signs person, I asked her what room number did we get. She said, "Ohmygod, I forgot to tell you and I swear I didn't do this. You won't believe it- it is room 222." We were both astounded as this was just a fraction of the story of how he was around.

Fast forward to last week, 2021, I am meeting my girlfriend Debe in New Orleans. We haven't seen each other since Arizona. She got a great deal on a cruise and I have never been on one, so off we go~
The cruise was lovely and most importantly it was great to spend time with someone I treasure. We got back to New Orleans on Saturday and because Debe has never been to New Orleans, we planned to stay one night and both fly home Sunday. We chose a boutique hotel in the French Quarter so we could walk to whatever caught our fancy. The boat arrived in port at 7 am and I said a little intention out to my Dad, my Guides, the angles- whoever was listening- to please let the hotel be available to give us early check in.
When we arrive, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Turns out, even though it was 8:30 am, they could let us into our room immediately with no extra charge. She hands Debe the keys and we walk out to the elevator and I ask what room did we get.
She looks down and says,
"Ohmygod you will not believe this! They gave us room 222!"
Needless to say, we were both blown away and thrilled. We laughed until we just about cried at the craziness of it. I mean, really! Dad is setting the bar high- not only did he do it once, he did it TWICE! You just cannot make this up! I love love love love love it.
This is the AZ hotel, the NoLa hotel and me with my new shorter hair (another story for sure) and this is my girlfriend Debe. Isn't she just adorable? I am so so grateful to have such good friends and to know my Dad is still around. He always liked adventures and apparently he likes traveling with the two of us! ha ha
So early this morning 222 jumped out at me . I instantly connected to uncle John . Just wanted to let you know ❤
It is a joy to read how your dad keeps in touch with you. What a blessing to know he's looking after you.
